Quran Hifdh

The journey of Hifdh is one of the most honourable paths a believer can take — a path that shapes the heart before the tongue. At Qimmah Lil Qwareer Learning Lounge, our Hifdh classes go beyond memorisation. We nurture understanding, reflection, and consistency, helping each sister connect deeply with the Qur’an as a lifelong companion.

Whether you’re starting your first lines or revising what you’ve memorised, our goal is to make your relationship with Allah’s words one of love, peace, and resilience.

Advanced Hifdh Class (from Surah Kahaf onwards)

If you are seeking a serious, structured environment to strengthen both your memorization and understanding of the Qur’an, this class is for you.  Beginner Tajwid Class – Focusing on Surah al-Baqarah

Are you ready to begin your journey of memorizing the Qur’an — gently, with understanding and consistency?

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The likeness of the one who reads Quran and memorises it is that he is with the righteous honourable scribes. The likeness of the one who reads it and tries hard to memorise it even though it is difficult for him, he will have two rewards.”

Al Bukhari 4937.

If you’ve longed to start your memorization but needed the right structure, this is your invitation to begin. This class is designed for beginners who want to memorize with reflection and proper recitation.
We take one step at a time — memorizing together, revising in class, and learning the meanings of what we recite.

Once a week – designed for those who wish to commit consistently without feeling overwhelmed. A calm pace. A reflective approach. A supportive circle of learners.

Class Focus:

  • Memorization of Surah al-Baqarah, at a steady pace.

  • Understanding key vocabulary and meanings.

  • Gentle review of tajwīd essentials.

  • Individual recitation and group revision.

  • Supportive, motivating environment for women at the start of their Hifdh journey.

Please note: We currently do not have a babysitting facility. Mothers are therefore encouraged to attend without their little ones to fully benefit from the class.

 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Recite Surah al-Baqarah, for taking recourse to it is a blessing and abandoning it is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.” (Sahih Muslim)
